Marshall County Alabama Hiking Trails

Located within
Lake Guntersville State Park,
the 2.5 mile Lickskillet Trail connects the campground to Town
Creek as it follows an old Indian path which dates back to the
early 1800's. Reaching Highway 227 just before Town Creek
Bridge, Lickskillet Trail crosses the main park road and service
road. Lickskillet Trail is one of Lake Guntersville State Park's
"Orange Trails", and is rated moderate.
To reach Lake Guntersville State Park from Guntersville Alabama,
turn off Highway 431 onto Alabama 27South and follow to the
park.
