Marshall County Alabama Hiking Trails

Located within
Lake Guntersville State Park, the 1.5 mile Moonshine Trail
is located near the chalets and may be accessed from the park
road or from behind the last chalet. Connecting with the Loop
Trail below the chalets, Moonshine Trail continues on to pass
the old still site, crosses the park road which leads to the
lodge. Moonshine Trail is one of Lake Guntersville State Park's
"Orange Trails", and is rated easy.
To reach Lake Guntersville State Park from Guntersville Alabama,
turn off Highway 431 onto Alabama 27South and follow to the
park.
