Located within Sonoma County
California, the 805 acre Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve
is home to Coast Redwoods which grow to a diameter of 12-16' and stand
from 200-250' tall. Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Area offers a
variety of facilities and recreational opportunities including a
visitor center, self-guided nature trails, horse trails, picnic
facilities, and a large outdoor amphitheater.
In addition to the recreational opportunities, Armstrong Redwoods
State Natural Reserve is home to the 310' tall Parson Jones Tree, and
the Colonel Armstrong Tree which is estimated to be over 1,400 years
old.
