Devils Fork State Park Campgrounds

| Devils
Fork State Park offers 2 campgrounds which are located near the shores
of Lake Jocassee. Fifty nine paved sites are available for RV or tent
camping which include electrical hook-ups and water. Some of these sites
can accommodate RVs up to 36'.
The walk-in, tent only campground do not offer electrical hookups or
water. Accessed via a short walk from the central parking area, the 25
elevated tent pads include a picnic table and fire ring. Water spigots and
restrooms are located adjacent to the walk-in tent area. |

| In addition to the 2 campgrounds
above, Devils Fork State Park also offers boat-in backcountry campsites
which are located on the northern shore of Lake Jocassee at the base of
Musterground Mountain. Accessible only by boat, the backcountry camping
area are available year-round and offers a fire ring/grill.
To reach Bear Cove Trail from Walhalla South Carolina, travel north
along SC 11 for about 13.5 miles and turn left onto County S37-25.
Continue to Devil's Fork State Park an turn left at the camping area gate
and then turn right at the first drive. The trail kiosk is on the parking
loop. |
