Rabun County Georgia Campgrounds
Rabun Beach Campground
|
Located along Lake Rabun within the Chattahoochee National Forest, the
Rabun Beach Campground offers 80 tent and trailer campsites, some with
electrical and water hookups. Each site offers a picnic table, trill,
lantern post and tent pads. Hot showers, drinking water and a dump station
are also available.
Additional recreational opportunities in the area include hiking,
swimming, boating and fishing. A boat launch is located near the
swimming area.

To reach Rabun Beach Campground
From
Clayton Georgia, travel 5.4 miles south along US 441/23 to Wiley
Connector. Turn right onto Wiley Connector and travel 0.1 mile to GA 15.
Turn left (South) on GA 15 and travel 1.4 miles and turn right onto Lake
Rabun road (Rabun County Road 10) and travel 5 miles.
From
Clarkesville Georgia, travel north along GA 197 for 16 miles to
Rabun Beach Recreation Area sign and turn right onto Burton Dam Road.
Follow Burton Dam Road for 8.4 miles to the campground.
