Fannin County Georgia Campgrounds

Located along the banks of Cooper Creek, within
Cooper Creek Recreation Area, Cooper Creek Campground offers 15 wooded
campsites. Each site offers a tent pad, picnic table, lantern pole and a
grill. No water or electric hooks or dump station are available. Drinking
water and vault toilets are available. All campsites at Cooper Creek
Campground are within easy walking distance of the creek.
In addition to the campground, hiking and trout fishing is available.
To reach Cooper Creek Campground:
From
Blue Ridge Georgia Travel north along US 515 for 4 miles to GA 60
and turn right. Follow GA 60 for 2 miles to Morganton Georgia and turn
right, following GA 60. Continue along GA60 for 15.5 miles to Forest
Service Road 4 and turn left. Follow FR 4 for 6 miles to the campground.
From
Blairsville Georgia travel south along US 515 for 2.5 miles to
Kiutuestia Road and turn left. Continue along Kiutuestia Road for 1.3
miles and turn left onto Old 76. Follow Old 76 for 100' and turn right
onto Mulky Gap Road. Continue along Mulky Gap Road for 9 miles to the
campground.
