Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests and Pawnee National Grassland
Located within the Boulder Ranger District, Isabelle Glacier Trail
travels 0.2 miles to Long Lake, 2.1 miles to Lake Isabelle, 3.7 miles to
Upper Lake, & 4.2 miles to Isabelle Glacier. Follow Pawnee Pass Trail
#907 as it climbs gradually for 2 miles into Indian Peaks Wilderness,
past Long Lake to Lake Isabelle. At Lake Isabelle, follow Isabelle
Glacier Trail as it forks left from Pawnee Pass Trail and continues
along the north side of Lake Isabelle to the source of South Saint Vrain
Creek, Isabelle Glacier. Isabelle Glacier Trail ends beside Isabelle
Glacier in a very steep-walled cirque basin framed by Shoshone, Apache &
Navajo Peaks.
