Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests and Pawnee National Grassland
Located within the Boulder Ranger District, Mitchell Lake Trail enters
Indian Peaks Wilderness near the bridge across Mitchell Creek, then
continues 0.5 miles to Mitchell Lake. Mitchell Lake Trail follows beside
the lake, crosses a bridge over the inlet and continues on to a steep
slope 1.5 miles away. The trail then follows the creek in an open valley
to Blue Lake.. |
