Barbara Whipple Trail

| Known as the Whipple Trail, the Barbara
Whipple Trail is located east of town, and begins with a bridge crossing
over the Arkansas River. A grouping of several trails on the east side
of the Arkansas River, the Barbara Whipple Trail is the a popular hike.
Several kiosks are located along the trail, and offers current and
historical information about the area. With a total elevation gain of
about 600', Barbara Whipple Trail is rated moderate.

within Buena Vista Colorado until reaching the dirt parking lot.
