Available for both Hiking & Horseback riding, the 3.9 mile Silver Creek Trail
rises through heavily forested areas to the top of the Continental Divide and is
very popular with mountain bikers. Silver Creek Trail passes through private
property at Kismuth mine.

To reach Silver Creek Trail from Poncha Springs Colorado travel 4.5 miles
south along Highway 285 and turn right onto CR 200. Continue 2 miles along
CR 200 to FR 201. Travel 5 miles along FR 201, passing through private
property (Silver Creek Lakes). Beyond the private property, the road
requires 4WD. Silver Creek Trail adjoins the road at the intersection of FS
201 & FS 869.2 and continues west.
