Paint Mines Interpretive Park Trails
Located in Colorado's eastern prairie, the 750 acre El Paso County, Paint Mines Interpretive Park offers 4 miles of hiking trails with interpretive signage. Paint Mines Interpretive Park features geological formations including spires and hoodoos which formed through erosion. Dominated by clay deposits, Paint Mines Interpretive Park offers evidence of human life as far back as 9,000 years ago. Paint Mines Park is located along Paint Mine Road, southeast of Calhan Colorado.
