Transfer Trail #2068

White River National Forest

Recommended during the day and in dry weather only, the 12 mile Transfer Trail offers several good views of Glenwood Springs Colorado and the Colorado River Valley within the first 6 miles. About 8 miles up the trail Windy Point offers a great view of No Name Creek. Several roads in this area branch off and lead to nearby lakes. At the top Transfer Trail becomes very rutted & rocky.
