Grand County Colorado Hiking Trails

Elliot Ridge Trail #1889

White River National Forest

Available for hiking, and horseback riding the 6.1 mile Elliot Ridge Trail is rated Moderate and receives low use. Traveling to Meridian Peak (elevation 12,426'), Elliot Ridge Trail offer great summit views of the surrounding Gore Range peaks.

To reach Eaglesmere Lakes Trail from I-70, take exit 205, Silverthorne/Dillon and turn north onto Highway 9. Travel about 27 miles along Highway 9 and turn left onto Spring Creek Road (CR 10).
Continue along Spring Creek Road for 6.8 miles and bear left at FR 1830 (Doenz Place). After this intersection the road becomes FR 23. Travel 1.1 miles along FR 23 to a fork in the road. Take the right fork (FR 23/1831 and continue about 5.39 miles to the trailhead.
