Routt National Forest
Available for hiking, biking, and
horseback riding, the 4 mile Hay Park Trail lies within the
Troublesome Trail. Hay Park Trail along with Middle Fork Trail & Siebert
Creek provides a circular route from Troublesome Creek Trail and is
popular with horse users. Hay Park Trail is rated moderate for hikers and
offers occasional campsites.
Beginning along FR 105.2, Hay Park Trail is accessed
quickest by Wheatley Creek Trail #91. The trail leaves FR 105.2 and
travels along an old jeep road next to Hay Park Creek. After reaching Hay
Park, the trail leaves the creek and climbs to Siebert Creek Trail &
Grimes Peak Trail. |
