Troublesome Creek Trail #56

Routt National Forest
Available for hiking, biking, and
horseback riding, the 13.5 mile Troublesome Creek Trail follows the
East Fork of the Troublesome and provides good fishing & camping.
Traveling north & south from Paradise Creek Trail, Troublesome Creek Trail
provides access to most of the trails in the area and is one of the most
popular.
Two access points are available for Troublesome Creek
Trail.

- To reach Hay Park Trail from Kremming Colorado, travel east along
Highway 40 for about 24 miles and turn north onto Highway 125. Continue
along Highway 125 for 11 miles and turn left onto Buffalo Creek Road.
Cross Sawmill Creek and continue for 2 miles to Bill Miller Trailhead.
Follow Bill Miller and Paradise Creek Trail.
- Travel east along Highway 40 from Kremmling past Hot Sulphur Springs
to Highway 125. Follow Highway 125 over Willow Creek Pass to FR 106.
Turn left onto FR 106. Continue along FR 106 to FR 730 and turn right.
Travel 1 mile along FR 730 to a small road on the left which leads up to
the Troublesome Pass Trailhead.
Horse trailers should park along FR 106 at the bottom of the hill
before the FR 730 junction, or at the intersection of FR 106 & FR 730.
