Routt National Forest
Available for hiking, biking, and
horseback riding, the 1.1 mile Troublesome Cutoff Trail was designed
and constructed as an access route to the Troublesome area, as it travels
from Elk Mountain Trail to Troublesome Creek Trail
To reach Troublesome Cutoff Trail from Kremming Colorado,
travel east along Highway 40 for about 24 miles and turn north onto
Highway 125. Continue along Highway 125 for 11 miles and turn left onto
Buffalo Creek Road (FR 108). Cross Sawmill Creek and continue 2 miles to
Bill Miller Trailhead.
