White River National Forest
Paralleling Crystal River, Crystal City Road, receives
heavy use as it travels to one of the most photographed scenes in
Colorado, the Crystal Mill (Deadhorse Mill). To reach
Crystal City Road from Carbondale Colorado, travel south along CO133 for
22 miles to the Marble turnoff. Travel east along Marble Road, through
Marble, past Beaver Lake. The 4WD portion begins just past the Gold Pan
Gallery. About a mile outside Marble the road forks, take the right fork
(FR 314). |
