Routt National Forest
Available for hiking, biking, and
horseback riding, the 10.1 mile Arapaho Ridge Trail is the only
maintained trail in the Hyannis Peak-Sheep Mountain area.
From the trailhead, Arapaho Ridge Trail climbs gently
through lodgepole pine, then descends to the Middle Fork of Arapaho Creek.
Following the creek for 5 miles with sever stream crossings. Steep
switchbacks lead to the top of Arapaho Ridge and the Continental Divide. |
