Routt National Forest
Available for hiking and horseback riding,
the 5.4 mile Beaver Creek Trail is located at the west end of Upper Beaver
Creek Road #681 and climbs westward at a moderate grade. Paralleling
Beaver Creek along the north side, Beaver Creek Trail travels to Stump
Park. After reaching Stump Park, Beaver Creek Trail drops down some fairly
steep switchbacks to Man Fork Trail #1152 along the Main Fork of the
Encampment River.

| To reach Beaver Creek Trail,
travel west along CR 6W from Cowdrey Colorado to Pearl and turn left at
Pearl onto FR 600. Continue along FR 600 to the junction of FR 689 and turn
right. Travel through Twisty Park and turn left at FR 681. Continue to the
trailhead at the end of Beaver Creek Road. |
