Available for hiking and horseback riding,
the 2.1 mile Manzanares Lake Trail is steep and in poor shape. Campsites
are available near Manzanares Lake.
To reach Manzanares Lake Trail,
travel west along CR 6W from Cowdrey Colorado past Pearl and turn left
onto CR 6B (FR 80). Continue along FR80, cross the Encampment River bridge
and turn left onto FR 82. Continue along FR 82 to the next left, which
leads to the Encampment River Trailhead.
