Routt National Forest
Available for hiking, biking, and
horseback riding, the 5.7 mile Middle Fork Troublesome Trail begins on
the northern end of Grimes Peak Trail and follows Siebert Creek and Middle
Fork Creek.
To reach Middle Fork Troublesome Trail, travel along FR
106 from Highway 125, four miles south of Rand Colorado, to FR 730 and
turn right. Continue along FR 130 for about a mile and turn left onto FR
107. Travel along FR 107 (4WD) to it's end. Take the trail down the draw
to Matheson Reservoir and take Trail #58 to Middle Fork Troublesome Trail.
