Available for hiking and horseback riding,
the 5.3 mile South Fork Trail climbs gradually along the South Fork of the
Michigan River. Within 0.5 mile of Baker Pass, South Fork Trail breaks
into the open and ascends rapidly.
Campsites are available, as is water and forage for
horses.

| To reach South Fork Trail from
Gould Colorado, travel along CR 24 (FR 740) off Highway 14. Continue south
to South Fork (FR 760). Follow FR 760 to the trailhead. The last part of
the road is 4WD only. |
