McIntyre Creek Trail #967

Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests and Pawnee National Grassland
Located within the Canyon Lakes Ranger District, the 8.5 mile
McIntyre Creek Trail is within Rawah Wilderness and offers views as it
climbs steadily to the McIntyre Ponds. McIntyre Creek rail then climbs
very steeply up the face of the Medicin Bow Range, coming out on top at
Medicine Bow Trail. This is one of the steepest ascents in Canyon
Lakes Ranger District. Camping
near the ponds is a good option.

To access McIntyre Creek Trail via McIntyre Trail #966, travel west
along CO 14 from Fort Collins for 60 miles to CR 103 (Laramie River
Road). Travel north along CR 103 for 16 miles and turn left onto
Glendevery Road and continue another 3 miles. Follow the McIntyre Trail
9 miles to Ute Pass. Medicine Bow intersects the trail near Ute Pass,
turn south.
