travels 2.6 miles to Diamond Lake, & 5 miles to Devil's Thumb Trail.

Trail #904 from the trailhead into Indian Peaks Wilderness for 1.2
miles to Diamond Lake Trail which forks left and traces upstream along
the North Fork, Middle Boulder Creek for about 0.5 mile, dropping down
to cross the stream on a narrow bridge near a scenic waterfall.

It is about 1 mile from the stream crossing to Diamond Lake, a popular
camping
area with limited designated campsites. Past Diamond Lake, Diamond Lake
Trail continues for 2.4 miles climbing up to cross the ridge just above
the treeline. Diamond Lake Trail joins
Devil's Thumb Trail #902 0.6 miles below Jasper Lake.
To reach Diamond Lake Trail from Highway 119/72 turn west onto CR
130, located just south of the center of Nederland and follow signs for
Eldora Ski Resort and the town of Eldora. At the fork in the road, keep
right, through Eldora. At the end of town, continue westward as the
payment ends, following to the right at the next road for. After 4 miles
you will reach Fourth of July Trailhead.
