Routt National Forest
Available for hiking, biking, and
horseback riding, the 44 mile Bears Ears Trail forms a large
loop around the Black Mountain area. A few short sections of the
trail are steep.
Dispersed camping is allowed 100' from the
trail, bodies of water and 0.25 mile from a developed campground or
trailhead.
Several access point are available for Bears Ears
Trail including Forest Roads 110, 150, 118, 109 and 112. Three
primary access points to sections of the trail are also available.
