Offering beautiful scenery, the 12 mile Hagerman Pass Road
is an easy ride and receives moderate to heavy use.
To reach Hagerman Pass Road from Carbondale travel east
along Highway 82 to Basalt and turn left at the stoplight, Traveling
through Basalt along Fringpan River Road, continue 27 miles out of town to
the end of the pavement, Turn left at the fork and then left again,
staying on road #105. Travel on the all-weather road for 11 miles and take
the left fork to Hagerman Pass. |
