White River National Forest
Passing through aspens & meadows with patches of spruce
and fir, the 3.7 mile Cattle Creek Trail is available to both hikers
& bikers and may be difficult to follow at times. To
reach Cattle Creek Trail from Carbondale Colorado, travel east along
Highway 82 and turn left at the stoplight in El Jebel. Travel through El
Jebel and continue about 5 miles along CR 13 to Basalt Mountain Road
(509). |
