White River National Forest
Available for both hiking and biking, the 4
mile Miller Divide Trail provides views of Fryingpan Valley, Rocky Fork
Creek and access to some of the best deer & elk habitat in the country.
The first part of Miller Divide Trail is steep, but flattens out on top
with a short downhill to Rock Fork Creek. To reach Miller
Divide Trail from Carbondale, travel east along Highway 82 to Basalt and
turn left at the stoplight onto Fryingpan River Road. |
