Placita Trail #1966

White River National Forest

Available for hiking & horseback riding, the 3 mile Placita Trail provides access to Lily Lake Trail #1964 and is very steep.

To reach Placita Trail from Carbondale Colorado, travel couth along Highway 133 for 20 miles until you see the Placita Trail sign on the left side of the road near the bridge. Travel 0.25 mile up the road to the trailhead.
