Rio Blanco County Colorado ATV Trails

East Beaver/Sleepy Cat Road #250

White River National Forest

Available for Hiking, and Horseback Riding, 4WD, ATV and Motorcycle, the 24 mile East Beaver/Sleepy Cat Road is passable with 2wd when dry.

To reach the East Beaver end of the East Beaver/Sleepy Cat Road from Meeker Colorado, travel east along CO 13 for a mile and turn east onto CR 8. Continue along CR 8 for 19 miles and turn north onto CR 115 through Oak Ridge State Wildlife Area for 2.3 miles to the forest boundary where FR 250 begins.
To reach the East Beaver end of the East Beaver/Sleepy Cat Road from Meeker Colorado, travel east along CO 13 for 2.2 miles and turn east onto CR 15. Continue along CR 15 for 11 mils to the top of Yellow Jacket Pass. Turn east onto CR 48 and travel 2.6 miles to forest boundary and FR 250.
