White River National Forest
Available for Hiking, and Horseback Riding,
the 2.25 mile Boulder Lake Trail winds up to Boulder Lake, just below
the cliffs forming the Flat Tops Plateau.
To reach Boulder Lake Trail from Meeker Colorado, travel east along CO
13 for a mile and turn east onto CR 8. Continue along CR 8 for 39 miles
and turn south onto Trapper Lake Road (FR 205). Travel 6 miles along FR
205 to Himes Peak
Campground. Travel along Big Fish Trail
#1819 for 1.25 miles to where Boulder Lake Trail branches to the
west.
