White River National Forest
Available for Hiking, and Horseback Riding,
West Marvine Trail begins on an old logging road on the west side of the
road before reaching the corrals. Just below the fork of East Marvine
Creek, West Marvine Trail crosses Marvine Creek. The trail then climbs
the ridge and crosses West Marvine Creek following House Creek to where
the trail branches to the north and south (about 2 miles from the
trailhead). The north fork follows the ridge below Camel Peak for 4.3
miles to Ute Creek Trail #1824 about 2
miles from Ute Creek Trailhead. The south fork follows West Marvine
Creek upstream for 4.75 miles to it's junction with Ute Creek Trail.
