White River National Forest
Available for both hiking, OHVs and mountain
biking, the 3.4 mile Mohawk Lakes via Spruce Creek Trail is rated
Moderate to More Difficult and receives heavy use. To reach
Spruce Creek Trail from I-70 exit 203 for Frisco/Breckenridge and travel
south along Highway 9 to Breckenridge Colorado. From Breckenridge continue
along Highway 9 for about 2.3 miles and turn right onto CR 800. Take the
first right and follow the road taking left turns at the forks for about
1.2 miles to the end of the rod. The trailhead is located on the left. |
