White River National Forest
Available for both hiking, biking and horseback
riding, the 2.8 mile Brush Creek Trail is rated Moderate to More
Difficult.
To reach Brush Creek Trail from I-70, exit 205 for
Silverthorne/Dillon Colorado. Travel north along Highway 9 for about 16.75
miles. Just after mile marker 118 turn left onto CR 30 toward the town of
Heeney. Continue along CR 30 for 0.54 miles and turn right into the old
Grandview Cemetery on the right side of the road and park. High clearance
may continue up Brush Creek Road (FR 1695) and begin your hike from the
end of the road. Horse trailers should be parked at the old Grandview
Cemetery. |
