White River National Forest
Available for both hiking and mountain biking,
the 3.8 mile Lenawee Trail offers an elevation gain of 1,890' during the
first 2 miles. Lenawee Trail is rated more difficult, receives low use and
offers views of Jumbo Mine, Dillon Reservoir and the mountains of the
Continental Divide. To reach Lenawee Trail from I-70, exit
205, Silverthorne/Dillon and travel east along Highway 6 toward Keystone.
Turn right onto Montezuma Road (CR 5) just past Keystone Colorado.
Continue along CR 5 for 4.62 miles to Peru Creek Road (FR 260). Travel
along FR 260 for 1.95 miles to the trailhead on the left side of the road. |
