Weld County Colorado Hiking Trails

Pawnee Buttes Trail
Located within Pawnee National Grassland, the 1.5 mile Pawnee Buttes Trail provides an opportunity to view the Buttes up close. The Buttes stand about 300' above the surrounding prairie.

To reach Pawnee Buttes Trail from I-25, take CO 14 east for about 50 miles to CR 103. Go north along CR 103 following the directional signs through Keota, north to the Pawnee Buttes.
