Charles Pack Trail, Litchfield County Connecticut Hiking Trails

Located within Peoples State Forest, the 1.9 mile Charles Pack Trail begins at Greenwoods Road, north of the James Stocking Area and continues on to the recreation area on Greenwoods Road. Along Charles Pack Trail crosses Agnes Bowen Trail, Beaver Brook, Pack Grove Road and travels through Pack Grove.

To reach Peoples State Forest from Barkhamsted, travel along Route 318 across the steel bridge and turn immediately to the left onto West River Road. Continue along West River Road for about 1 miles.
