a nice walk for families with small children. Offering only a 120'
elevation change, Hosmer Grove Nature Loop provides a brochure at it's
trailhead which guides you through the forest and shrubland.
To reach the summit area of Haleakala National Park from
Kahului Hawaii (Maui), travel Route 37 to 377, to 378. Driving time is
about 1.5 hours.
To reach the coastal area (Kipahulu) of Haleakala National
Park from Kahului via Route 36 to 360 to 31. Driving time is about 3
hours.
