Maui County Hawaii Hiking Trails

Kuloa Point
Located within Haleakala National Park, the 0.5 mile Kuloa Point forms a loop which travels to/from the Kipahulu Ranger Station, passing pools and waterfalls. Kuloa Point offers views overlooking Oheo Gulch, and the crashing surf below.

To reach the summit area of Haleakala National Park from Kahului Hawaii (Maui), travel Route 37 to 377, to 378. Driving time is about 1.5 hours.
To reach the coastal area (Kipahulu) of Haleakala National Park from Kahului via Route 36 to 360 to 31. Driving time is about 3 hours.
