Buckeye Ridge Trail

Traveling through grassy fields and wooded areas, the 5.4 mile Buckeye Ridge Trail offers great views. A loop can be formed by combining Buckeye Ridge Trail with Forest Service Roads. Rated moderate, Buckeye Ridge Trail is available for both hiking and horseback riding.

To reach Buckeye Ridge Trail from I-40 near the NC/TN state line. Take the Harmon Den exit and travel northeast on Forest Service Road 148 (Cold Springs Road) for 3 miles to the Harmon Den parking area on the left. Parking for trailers is also available at the lower junction of FR 148 and 3526.
