Located within
Pickett State Park and Forest, the 5 mile Rock Creek Trail is rated
moderate and travels an old railroad bed for much of it's length. Traveling
through a deciduous and evergreen forests, Rock Creek Trail includes streams
and waterfalls and is reached by traveling 1.8 miles from the park entrance
along TN 154, turn right before the Rock Creek Bridge, continue another 0.1
mile to the trail.
To reach Pickett State Park from I-40, take exit 317 and travel along
Highway 127 north for 46 miles to Highway 154. Turn right onto Highway 154
and continue for 12 miles to the park entrance. |
