Monongalia County West Virginia Hiking Trails

Mont Chateau Trail
Located within Coopers Rock State Forest, the 3 mile Mount Chateau Trail travels from the Henry Clay iron furnace to Cheat Lake near the old Mount Chateau Lodge. Mont Chateau Trail is rated moderate.

Coopers Rock State Forest is located 8 miles west of Bruceton Mills West Virginia and 13 miles east of Morgantown, and may be reached from I-68, exit 15.
