Gahuti Trail, Murray County Georgia Hiking Trails

Located within Fort Mountain State Park, the 8.8 mile Gahuti Trail travels along the edge of Fort Mountain State Park, passing just below the summits of both Cohutta and Fort Mountains. Four backcountry campsites are available along Gahuti Trail (permit required).

Gahuti Trail is rated difficult to strenuous.

Fort Mountain State Park is located 8 miles east of Chatsworth along GA 52.
