Lake Trail, Murray County Georgia Hiking Trails

Located within Fort Mountain State Park, the 1.2 mile Lake Trail forms a loop around Fort Mountain's lake. Lake Trail offers several access points including the campground, cottage areas, picnic area, picnic shelter #5 and Big Rock Trail parking area. When traveled clockwise, Lake Trail offers mostly downhill.

Lake Trail is rated easy.

Fort Mountain State Park is located 8 miles east of Chatsworth along GA 52.
