South Rim Trail

Located within
Tallulah Gorge State Park, the 0.75 mile South Rim Trail is accessed on
the of the gorge from the Interpretive Center and is rated moderate. South
Rim Trail offers 5 scenic overlooks:
- View of Hawthorne Pool, North Rim Trail Overlooks 2 & 3. The top
of Tempesta Falls and down the gorge towards Hurricane Falls. Gorge
depth is 350'.
- View of Hawthorne Pool, Tempesta Falls and Pool. Gorge depth is
400'.
- View of Hurricane Falls and Pool, "Devel's Pulpit" outcrop
below, and the Interpretive Center across the gorge. Gorge depth is
500'

- View of Hurricane Falls, Oceana Falls, Caledonia Cascade (600'),
and North Rim Overlook 1. Gorge depth is 650'.
- View of Caledonia Cascade and the Wallenda north tower area. The
bluff to the far right is about 1,000' high.
Tallulah Gorge State Park is located along US 441 within the city
limits of Tallulah Falls Georgia.
