| Traveling from the parking lot on Brasstown
Bald Mountain to the Visitor Information Center at the summit of
Georgia's highest mountain Brasstown Bald (4,784'), the 0.6 mile paved
Brasstown Bald Summit Trail is rated moderate and receives heavy use.
To reach Brasstown Bald from
Blairsville Georgia, travel south along US 19/129 for 8 miles and
turn left (east) onto GA 180. Continue along GA 180 for 8 miles and
turn left (north) onto GA 180 Spur. Travel 3 miles to the Brasstown
Bald Visitor Center parking lot. |
