Raven Cliff Falls Trail

Located within Raven Cliffs Wilderness
Area, the 3 mile Raven Cliff Falls Trail is rated moderate. Traveling to
Raven Cliff Falls and 3 other smaller falls, Raven Cliff Falls Trail
follows alongside Dodd Creek for most of it's length, and is marked with
a blue blaze. Beginning as a road near the junction of Dodd Creek and
Bear Den Creek, where trout fishing is very popular, the "road" becomes
a trail after about 100 yards. Raven Cliff Falls Trail is a popular
trail and receives heavy use.
To reach Raven Cliff Trail from
Helen Georgia, travel north along GA 75-N for 1.5 miles to it's
junction with GA 356 (Alt. 75 and turn left. Continue along GA 356 for
2.2 miles to the Russell-Brasstown Scenic Byway (#348). Travel 3 miles
along Russell-Brasstown Scenic Byway to the parking lot on the left at
mile marker #3. |
