Located within Breaks Interstate Park, River Trail is 1 miles long and rated Strenuous. River Trail winds down the canyon to the river. River Trail is marked with a Blue Blaze and offers great views.

Breaks Interstate Park is located 7 miles east of Elkhorn City Kentucky and 8 miles north of Haysi Virginia.
