riding, the 5 mile Little Cataloochee Trail is rated moderate as it
follows old roads with only 1 notable climb over a small ridge. Little
Cataloochee Trail passes by several old home sites and a restored church.
The trailheads are at Palmer Creek, about 1 mile from the end of the paved section of Cataloochee Road at the Cataloochee Horse Camp, and at a signed gate along the gravel Cataloochee-Big Creek Road. |
