Allegany County Maryland Hiking Trails

Dan's Mountain WMA Trails

Hiking Trails and Mountain Bike Trails are available within Dan's Mountain Wildlife Management Area.

Dans Mountain WMA is located between MD 220 and MD 36. Access is limited to 2 areas along the East side of MD 220 and 2 areas along the west side of MD 36.

To reach Dans Mountain WMA from Cumberland Maryland travel south along MD 220. Sighs along the road will indicate access points.

To reach the western side, travel south along MD 36 for 6 miles and turn left onto Buskirk Hollow Road.
